Shipping Charges are shown in addition to the price of your gift basket or candy bouquet and will be added on the final page of the shopping cart.
In most instances we can only ship one gift per box and are not able to combine shipping. There are sometimes exceptions to this rule. If you need to order multiple items for the same address please contact us .
UPS Ground is our preferred method of shipping to any zones within the
1 - 3 day delivery time frame (See Coverage Map). Please note: The day of shipment, weekends and holidays do not count in transit times. UPS is very reliable and the most cost effective method. However, if your gift order contains delicate food or candy and is being shipped to a zone with a 4 - 7 day transit time we would like to recommend that you select the USPS Priority Mail option instead.
In most case orders received Monday-Thursday by 1:00 p.m. EST will be shipped on the same business day. Orders received after the cut off time will ship the following business day. You also have the option to select a future arrival date for your item.
The integrity of your gift order is of utmost importance to us and therefore we will not ship orders that contain delicate food items on a Friday via UPS Ground. The reason being is that your gift would sit in a hot warehouse over the weekend. We will ship your order on Monday instead.
USPS Priority Mail is preferred by us for gift orders that contain delicate food or candy and are being shipped to areas in zones with a 4-7 day transit time from UPS Ground. (See Coverage Map) It does cost more than UPS Ground Shipping but USPS Priority Mail offers 2-3 day transit times throughout the continental US (excluding Sunday and holidays). They also deliver on Saturday should you be in a time crunch. This shipping option should be selected in these circumstances.
Express Shipping: If you need express shipping service please contact us. We will help you yo determine the best and most cost effective method of shipment for your circumstance. We will give you a shipping quote based on the size, weight, destination of your gift order. Overnight and 2nd Day shipping costs, if needed, can add an additional $15 - $40 to the original shipping cost of your order depending on the service selected.
Do We Ship To Hospital Patients? No, we can not ship a gift basket or a candy bouquet to a hospital patient. (We do however offer local delivery to the hospitals in our area.) Rapid changes often occur in the patient’s location, condition and early dismissals, etc. making it all too difficult to insure delivery via a shipping service without incurring a delay. If you wish to ship a gift to a hospital patient please send it to a friend or to a relative locally that can take it to them personally for you or ship it to their home.
Incorrect Addresses: Orders that are sent to a wrong or an incomplete address are not guaranteed. UPS charges us $10 to correct an address or to forward a package to the correct address which will subsequently be charged to your credit card should this occur.
If your gift order is returned to us as undeliverable due to an a wrong or non-existent address, you can either cancel the order and pay a 25% restocking fee of the original price of your gift, or we can re-ship the item for you to the correct address at your expense. Original shipping charges will not be refundable in either instance.
It is your responsibility to provide us with the correct and complete street address information. UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box. They also request that a phone number for the recipient be provided. They will only call them if there is a problem delivering their package.
